Maritime MT
Malta Maritime Research and Training Centre entrusted Mekanika with the supply, installation and commissioning of their new facility. Services carried out by Mekanika where the Electrical, ELV, BMS, Heating, ventilation and Air Conditioning, Plumbing and firefighting.
Piazzetta Business Plaza, Sliema
Mekanika has been entrusted with the supply, installation and maintenance of all the Mechanical, HVAC, BMS, Electrical, ELV services and Lifts at Piazetta Business Plaza. Piazzetta Business Plaza is a unique site on the sea front of Sliema. Mekanika branded products such as Panasonic Air conditions, KONE lifts, Mavili Fire Alarm, Schneider BMS, Venco Fans and Ebitt Pumps amongst other products have been installed at this prestigious project. The development includes circa 8,000 square meters of high-end commercial offices and over 1,200 square meters of retail/shopping spaces plus a large car park. Project started early 2019 with a scheduled completion Q3 2020.
The Centre
Mekanika was leader in the Joint Venture awarded this prestigious design and build contract in the heart of Sliema. Mekanika supplied, installed, commissioned and is also entrusted with the maintenance of all the Mechanical, Electrical and ELV services.
The Portomaso Tower
It was certainly a milestone when KONE lifts made it to the 22nd floor of the Portomaso Tower. Mekanika was chosen for a full implementation of 3 lifts in 2012 in the portomaso Tower – currently the highest lift shafts in Malta. This project presented unique demands and challenges, and Mekanika literally rose to the challenge to offer unsurpassed quality and reliability.
The Tg Complex, Mriehel
Mekanika provided a turnkey solution for all mechanical, electrical and extra low voltage solutions in this building; including 4 Kone lifts, 25 VRF outdoor units and 250 indoor units, as well as TAC access control systems and Sanyo security systems. The building consists of 11,000 square meters of commercial and office space.
Pender Gardens
Mekanika was also awarded the contract to install all the lifts for the new luxury lifestyle development Pender Gardens, in St Julian’s. In a first for Malta, KONE lifts will transport people both horizontally and vertically using 52 lifts and 2 escalators. It is the largest single project that the company has been awarded and is proof that Mekanika can ably provide a complete service to its customers no matter the size or requirements of the project.
Gasco Energy
Mekanika was also awarded a €1.95 million contract by Gasco Energy Ltd. The contract involves the commissioning of mechanical and electrical services, as well as the supply, installation and maintenance of lifts and air-conditioning at the new €20 million LPG cylinder-filling plant in Benghajsa.
